Business Logo Design – Acquisition

Barter, the oldest exchange of goods for services and services for goods is still lost. Research reveals that the introduction of coins, also known as “money,” is likely the reason a poverty line was created. However, an identity is always essential to alarm or alert the masses to a new or existing product. Identities have been consistent since the Mesopotamian era! From handprints in caves to that of the world’s first logo that is a round metal defaced with the Lord of the Sun of old.

For any business, large or small, an identity is imperative, its unusual characteristics could forever resonate in the minds of human beings if it is created with extensive research and produced with a perfect fusion.

Options – Peculiarity

Most of the decisions made when designing a company logo are surrounded by painstaking delivery timescales. This leads to a makeshift design that could function, fail, or remain stagnant for the rest of its useful life. A designer house or designer would ideally need at least a week and a half or 12 days minimum to have a unique and effective identity. Most images or visions are an epiphany of other trademark logos that a conscious mind would keep in their subconscious. However, it is about creating that “exclusive” image, which would not only correspond to the specialty of an organization, but would also reveal the nature of the business in a fraction of 3-4 seconds. Therefore, choice is important when selecting a business logo design.

Intuition – Fair Play

Given the fact that time is ticking, a designer would ideally have a limited research focus. After establishing a relationship with the organization, an intuitive idea, vision or image would already be produced within the subconscious. A thorough investigation would only rule out the possibility of a ‘copy’, which would pay off in the future for the organization and the creator himself.

However, an example of 10 versions would be the perfect approach to archive while designing for an organization. Now you can conclude that this would help for reviews, not exactly! For reviews, there could be an additional 5 (that is, 15 in total). It is imperative for a designer to have 10 different versions to address other trademark logos that might be encountered in the future after designing for a specific industry, as it may never be known whether a logo would appear long before the trademark application registered of the organization that you work for.

Call it a backup, but this would ideally protect your design from others and thus set it apart.

Trial and error: management

The best option is to have the design tested, either black and white or just 80% with a shadow here and a veil there. This would attract the masses. For example, New Kojima Productions created a logo for their video game. They first revealed a head. Then a week later, a full-length logo! Then, 2 weeks later, at a grand ceremony for Comic Con, a presentation video was revealed. Therefore, success really lies in producing a new design with only fragments of it, to attract the target audience, tap into their curiosity and directly grow a brand even before its creation.

For a company logo design, simply adding some shadows and veils to the current logo and having it on a billboard (wasteful) or business card (inexpensive) or on a website (inexpensive) would start to attract the human vortexes of the masses who cast glances over the identity of your company logo.

It is from there that he begins to understand that the design would not only work, but could emerge as he has already reached out to the masses with hints of an entirely new idea. Ideally, this technique is without loss, as an organization would know if its new badge is really worthy enough or not in terms of communication.

Colors, fonts, representation: TIME

The field of business is very broad and would limit a designer’s ability to use bold colors and bold fonts. Also, inspiration from other sources would not be the perfect step ahead. Therefore, a professional font with subtle colors would be an exemplary choice, leading to an effective yet communicative business logo design. Most commercial giants tend to incorporate the national flag, national flower, or national animal and therefore use colors associated with them to reflect patriotism. This is not a bad idea at all. It would only show that you represent yourself as a brand identity unique to your country. Even for a startup or existing organization, the use of Sans Serif or Comic Sans could definitely produce results beyond expectations.
