Competition – wanted improvisation artists

The Austrian Composers Association, formerly known as the Austrian Composers Association, is holding the phonoEchoes competition for the second time. Submissions are welcome (by May 31, 2021) from the areas of free improvisation and transmedial concepts. All Tonkünstler resident in Austria are eligible to participate; There is no age limit or registration fee.

An expert jury then selects the five finalists, and in autumn three winners will be chosen at a concert and each will be honored with 700 euros in prize money; in addition, her pieces are to be streamed in cooperation with the English art center Iklektic London.
