Culinary: Surprise at the meat tasting – great, this old cow

Taste of a long life. A four-year-old cattle is otherwise only sausage today. However, an online blind tasting by 60 experts showed that the meat tasted the best. That raises questions.
“No cattle dealer will believe you,” says Michael Wilhelm, a breeder from Sölden. The two older animals do the best: the result belies what we think about beef in general. 60 testers came to this conclusion online during a blind tasting of the “Koch.Campus”. This meat would be too old for regular sale and would only be processed into sausage.
