The Elezen race is made up of elven characters. There are two character sects of Elezen which are Wildwood and Duskwight. Blessed with a well-developed sense of hearing, the Duskwight breed hides in caves and caverns. The Wildwood breed can see very well and choose to remain in the forest.

The Lalafell race is made up of small humans who come from the south. This race is very smart and agile. There are two divisions of Lalafells, which are the Plains and the Dunesfols.

The Roegadyn breed is larger and more muscular, and comes from the north. There are two divisions of Roegadyn, which are sea lions and wardens of hell.

The Miqo’tes race is more feline than human, and they are divided into Guardians of the Moon and Seekers of the Sun.
