How to go to Legoland from Singapore

If you are thinking of going to Legoland while in Singapore (SG) then you have to thank heaven for the little mercies as there are several transportation options you can choose from.

Legoland is one of the most accessible theme parks in the world as it is located near Lion City. In fact, getting there is not as difficult as one might imagine. That is why millions of tourists come to Legoland as it is only 45 kilometers from Garden City (another name for SG). What is even more surprising is the fact that the theme park has seven more interesting theme parks inside. Apart from that, the place is also full of restaurants, souvenir shops and mini-shops that can really attract children and adults to make Legoland a part of the itinerary when visiting Singapore.

How to get there

Thanks to technology and foresight, going to Legoland is as easy as ABC. You can choose a method that suits your individual or family needs, budget, and other preferences. Here are the transportation options:

Bus

If traveling long distances and spending more time on the road doesn’t bother you or your family, this is a good way to travel as you don’t need a reservation. You can introduce your group at the public bus terminals going to Johor Bahru. Just follow Jurong East and Boon Lay towards Tuas Checkpoint, then get off when the bus stops at CIQ Interlink.

You can travel by bus from 7:00 am to 11:45 pm, Monday through Sunday. From this point, you get on another bus. Legoland will be the first stop on that journey. There are 8 bus trips from CIQ Interlink starting at 9:00 a.m. every hour and 30 minutes thereafter. The SI1 bus and JP02 bus only have four trips in one day starting at 8:30 am and then every 3 hours thereafter.

The price of bus tickets varies between 20 and 56 SGD per person.

Cab

If you want to travel faster than by bus, this is one of the best options. You can hire an accredited taxi from Singapore and request to be dropped off at Johor Bahru Sentral. Take another taxi from this point to get directly to Legoland. With this method, you don’t have to travel for at least two hours. You can even bring the elderly or people with comfort problems.

However, it is more expensive and you have to book in advance. Optionally, you can also make use of a Legoland ticket reservation to facilitate convenient entry when you arrive at a customs office in Malaysia or Singapore. Remember, only accredited taxis are allowed within the Malaysia area and regular taxis are limited to the Singapore side exit. So to make it more convenient, you can coordinate with your SG taxi to coordinate a Malaysian taxi to meet you at the border.

Private transport

When we say private, it is through a personal car or by renting a private vehicle service. The best thing about this option is that they will pick you up from anywhere in Singapore and drop you off directly at Legoland in Malaysia. Another amazing feature of this method is that you don’t need to get out of the car once you reach the custom checkpoints at the Malaysia and Singapore stations.

If you rent a private vehicle, it will cost you between SGD 170 and SGD 320, depending on the type of vehicle you reserve. Of course, this is the ideal option if you prefer a faster ride from SG to Legoland and have the money to splurge. Plus, this is also great for groups, as the greater the number of people you’re traveling with, the cheaper it becomes, as you rent the entire vehicle rather than paying per passenger.

Tour package

You can book ahead of time at different travel agencies and let them take care of everything, including transportation services from Singapore to Legoland along with other perks like free bottled water (or even food), comfortable seats, child seats, DVD players. , TV. monitor or music player. Some tour packages also include insurance coverage and provide entertainment requests whenever possible.

Whether you are traveling from Singapore to Legoland alone, with your family, or with a group, there is always an option that suits you best.
