Depending on how we look at it, café mocha can be the tall drink made from coffee, cocoa, and milk, often served with cream, or, on the other hand, café mocha can refer to the source.

Yemen is the source of true Mocha coffee. Yemeni beans are considered by some connoisseurs to be the best money can buy. Without a doubt, for one reason or another, it is known throughout the world. Grown along steep terraced slopes at an altitude of between 3,000 and 7,000 feet, the harvested fruit is a small, hard coffee bean.

The name itself originates from the Yemeni port city on the Red Sea. Of the varieties available, Mocha Sanani and Mocha Mattari are considered the best. Due to the harsh hot and dry climate, coffee beans are as unique as their distinctive flavor. Without a doubt, authentic Mocha coffee is a pleasure to drink.

So while many people may not be totally familiar with the origins of Mocha coffee, I think most people have heard of or tried and fallen in love with the drink.

Mocha coffee is really easy to prepare and we are happy to offer a couple of recipes to get you on your way. Basically all you need to do is add cocoa, sugar, and milk to the hot coffee, maybe experiment with other flavors and beverages. Others prefer to mix cocoa, sugar, milk and coffee in a saucepan and heat until it starts to boil.

At this point, try adding a little vanilla extract. Serve in cups or glasses and top with whipped cream and cinnamon. The taste will surprise you, you will find the taste wonderfully rich and very aromatic. To make things a little easier for you, this is the list of ingredients for two servings.
