Price war at Taxi, Uber & Co. goes into the next round

A law should equate taxis and rental cars. But now Viennese taxi drivers see themselves massively disadvantaged.
The new Occasional Traffic Act (GelVG) has been in force since January 1, 2021. Actually, the longstanding conflict between taxi drivers and electronic brokerage platforms such as Uber & Co. should be resolved, because both are legally equated and are subject to the same regulations.
