Thailand has some of the best, if not the best, beaches in the world. With many coastal cities offering something for all types of visitors. These are some of the best known beach destinations in Thailand.

Phuket – You can find almost anything to entertain anyone in Phuket. From sprawling beaches, luxury to inexpensive hospitality, fine cuisine, vibrant nightlife, exciting shopping, excellent golf courses, and extensive spa treatments.

Samui: second to Phuket in terms of variety of attractions. Samui also has some magnificent waterfalls that visitors should not miss.

Hua Hin – Thailand’s oldest beach resort that remains popular with those wanting a quiet getaway just hours from Bangkok. Also known for its night market that offers a variety of exquisite meals and snacks.

Rayong and Koh Samet: Rayong has not only beautiful beaches along its coastline, but also cultural and natural resource riches. Koh Samet, the largest island off the Rayong coast with its crystal clear waters, is also a favorite for those looking for a quick visit outside of Bangkok.

Pattaya: Not known for the best beaches because of its increasing popularity which has caused great water pollution. But instead, Pattaya is famous for its nightlife. Hundreds of beer bars, bars, restaurants and clubs lined the busy “Walking Street”, also known as “The Strip”.
