The process of building new homes

This is done to obtain building permits for the project.

Once they have the building permits, the contractor can start the earthworks on the site. To give the house a finished look, they can install brick or exterior siding.

With the framing work and exterior work done, it’s time to start the interior work. Electrical and mechanical contractors will install plumbing and wiring throughout the ceiling and walls. Heating and cooling systems are installed and tested, trim and interior doors are put up, and then drywall is hung. Next, the fixtures and hardware are added and the walls are painted. Construction of the new house is complete and ready for an inspection by the local authority to ensure that the house complies with local building and safety codes. An occupancy permit is issued so the family can move.
