God help! Even through Noot Vir Noot

AHA! The best news ever. I really need it. All we need. Even if our friends abandon us, even if our family simply disappears in times of crisis, there is always someone available for us: 17 … the Master was by my side …

Elzette’s true story about how God never abandoned her and cared for her in a very special way really touched me:

I’d like to tell my ‘Noot vir Noot’ story.

A few years ago, I went to Auckland Park to audition. When I didn’t get feedback from the production team in a few weeks, I assumed I hadn’t made it.

A few months later, Elsa contacted me and told me that she had been selected. I was so excited! However, the show would only be recorded a few months later and I would be contacted again closer in time.

I should mention here that at the time of the audition both my husband and I had jobs and that there was no dark cloud on the horizon predicting unemployment or loss. We were an everyday middle-income family that made it financially every month.

It took more than two years from the audition to the recording of the show, and in those two years our family’s financial situation changed dramatically. Both my husband and I were fired and, at the time of recording, our financial situation had deteriorated to the point that we would not have been able to pay the next installment of our bail.

I won the first round and my prize money amounted to approximately R37,000! The second round was recorded shortly after, and although I was the first to go, I still won over 5,000 rand.

In those days, R42,000 covered our family’s expenses for three months, three months that made the difference between sinking and swimming! In those three months, both my husband and I were finally able to find work again, and not only were we able to quickly pay off our outstanding debts, we were also able to purchase a home in a better neighborhood close to the children’s schools and make many other improvements to our home. school. it lives.

And as they say, here’s the kicker: when the first show aired and we were watching it, I couldn’t answer some of the questions that I answered correctly during the recording of the show! I was puzzled and quite confused, until I realized who had given me those answers. In the right moment!

That is our God. And this is just one example of many in my life that I can mention to prove: God NEVER release you. Simply BELIEVE. PRAY and ASK for your HELP. BELIEVE. And at the same time thank him for (again) helping you in and during every “crisis” in your life. Sometimes it seems that it is not going to do it, but at the right time it opens the right doors.

There are many stories about how God never abandons us. When it feels like everyone and everything rejects us, forgets us, and abandons us, we should look around us. God is there. God is there! He will never abandon us!

Reflection

Where are you alone

What is your crisis?

What must you do to see God in your crisis?

Pray

Lord, I am alone. I can not continue. Please show yourself to me. Show me what to do. Please take my hand, don’t let go. Amen.
