Ambrosia is a special food in The Sims 3 to resurrect a ghost sim to the world of the living and can also reset a sim’s life bar to prolong their life. The hard part is getting the ragweed ready to eat.

The first thing you will need to do is work on your sims cooking skill because you will need to reach level 10 in cooking to learn the ambrosia recipe. The recipe book is available at the bookstore and retails for $12,000 simoleans.

Ambrosia requires two ingredients: a fish of death and a fruit of life. So now you will need to reach level 10 in both gardening and fishing. The best strategy is to have the family join forces. Assign a sim to level cooking to 10 and then choose 2 other sims to level gardening or fishing. It is better if you choose an adult to level the fishing skill, as the police will catch teenagers if they go out after 10:00 pm

The cheat method to get Life Fruit with 0 gardening skills is to use the code “testingcheatsenabled true”. Then go to buy mode and sort by feature and enter the cheat code “buydebug”. Suddenly you will see a question mark icon which unlocks all expansion items and special items. If you hover under the plant icon, you’ll see that you can purchase a fully mature Life Plant. Simply place it in your field and reap the fruit of life immediately.

To get the death fish, you will need a level 10 fishing skill. In fact, you can get the fishing book to learn about the Death Fish at level 7, which reveals to you that the bait used to catch the fish The Death Fish is an Angel Fish, but you can’t catch the Death Fish unless you have 10 Fishing Skills. Have the sim do Click on the stove and in the “have a meal” menu you will see an option to make ambrosia. Ambrosia doesn’t spoil, so you don’t have to worry about that, but be careful because hungry sims will almost always choose that dish first. Ambrosia can’t be replicated in the replicator machine either, so make sure you have plenty of dead fruit and fish in your inventory in case one of your sims accidentally swallows them.
