According to the first available findings, the number of frauds rose sharply in the corona and lockdown year 2020. “Whether winning the lottery, a quick vaccination appointment for cash, an allegedly lucrative part-time job for which fees are due first, or, of course, surefire investment tips with fabulous returns – there is hardly anything that scammers do not offer,” says an SN report from 18 March 2021.
