Professional Palmistry Book Review: Psychology of the Hand by Andrew Fitzherbert

The basics of palmistry can be learned by reading a multitude of books written on the subject. If you want to bring all the components of palm reading together, professionally, and tell a detailed story about a person, you should read the book ‘Psychology of the Palm’ by Andrew Fitzherbert. This is one of the best books ever written on palmistry. After learning and practicing, studying technical authors, your palm reading skills will be brought to a more professional level. By reading this book, you can learn from an expert how to take all aspects of palmistry to create a well-defined profile of the person you are reading.

The first chapter gives an outline of the history of palmistry. The author divides the art of palmistry into three groups. This is how the book is structured:

• Hand shape and finger length, finger spacing, finger shape
• lines on the palm
• fingerprints

In the first chapter, Andrew Fitzherbert gives an overview of how palmistry has evolved over the centuries. He explains how some of the old theories about palmistry have not, in his experience, been shown to work, and why he dismisses them. He gives his theories on how basic concepts should be viewed.

The second chapter tells you how to use palmistry to understand a person’s hand regarding a love life. Discuss how the heart line determines a person’s approach to love.

• Emotional feelings are displayed very clearly, about what they want.

Straight line of the heart:

• Wait for a relationship to occur, not an autostart.
• He wants compatibility, affection, companionship and sex.
• You are reflective, but not necessarily demonstrative in your emotions towards the other person.
• You would prefer to be the non-dominant person in the relationship, you would like to share the responsibility. They tend not to show much emotion.

The curved heart line places more emphasis on the physical aspect of love and sex than the straight heart line. The curved lines make the courtship, they can be males or females. The location in the palm of the hand and the amount of curve of the heart line determine its full meaning.

A curved heart line has a warm and emotional approach to love situations. The straight line of the heart takes a more thoughtful approach. In the book, there are many examples of images of the different types of heart lines and their location in the palm of the hand, with their respective meanings.

The third chapter is dedicated to relationship problems and the little finger. Andrew Fitzherbert places a lot of emphasis on the little finger: its length, the configuration of the finger, and its separation from the ring finger. He gives written examples of how these different characteristics of the little finger can be an indicator of relationship problems.

In the rest of the book’s chapters, the author gives a variety of images, with examples covering the following topics:

• How to classify people by hand shape, finger length, finger spacing, fingerprints, and hand lines.

In the last section of the book, the author gives examples of how to take the basics of palmistry and apply them to the general meanings of the hands. He gives numerous picture examples and written explanations of how each personality type has specific hand characteristics in common. The strength of his writing in this book is in showing detailed hand examples that are easy to see and understand. The book explains the many pieces of the palmistry puzzle. I have not found another author on palmistry who has his knowledge base and has published it so completely. This is an excellent book!
