Range Rover’s ‘extraordinary perspective’

Land Rover creatively paves the way for its 2007 Range Rover by launching the ‘Extraordinary Perspective’ marketing theme. Said theme revolved around the delivery of inspiring works of art created in the sand of a captivating beach in Point Conception, California.

‘Extraordinary Perspective’ is the third installment of the automaker’s ‘Designed for the Extraordinary’ marketing campaign, which began in February of this year. Land Rover used a number of communication channels including the Internet, television and print to convey the idea of an elevated perspective that ties in with the display of the 2007 Range Rover’s style and performance.

The marketing campaign, which uses the central coast of California as its location, created two perspectives. From sea level, the works of art in the sand are practically imperceptible. However, from the elevated perspective, the artworks become startlingly obvious. Such a work of art is created with just a piece of wood and a rake. From afar, art looks like a gracefully flowing fluid. It measures several hundred feet.

“The ‘Designed for the Extraordinary’ campaign has showcased each of our vehicles in unique and fascinating ways. In first place, the Range Rover Sport drove under the city of Tokyo through spectacular underground aqueducts. In second place, the LR3 successfully flew an aircraft from Nice to Corsica,” said Sally Eastwood, Vice President of Marketing for Land Rover North America. “This third iteration of the campaign focuses less on a physical demonstration and more on the emotional aspects of beautiful landscapes, stunning one-of-a-kind artwork and the ability of our flagship Range Rover to elevate your perspective and see things differently.”

Land Rover Range Rover, a luxury SUV, was first introduced in 1970. Last year, the vehicle benefited from 2 new engine options including the 400bhp supercharged V8. For its next model, the parts of a Range Rover were redesigned for greater comfort and refinement.

Range Rover 2007 auto parts will also integrate the automaker’s Terrain Response(TM) system, which was previously introduced on the LR3. Also, the new Range Rover has better brakes and suspension. The interior of the vehicle is also more sophisticated with optional refrigerated front seats and increased cargo capacities.
