Role and importance of exploring the interlife state

More and more often I see clients asking me to help them access the between-life state (also known as the life between lives state).

When we undertake a regression to a past life, we usually investigate the most important events of that life and then we are led to the moment of our death and the minutes immediately after, when the soul detaches from the body, becoming free again, and evaluates. the life that just ended. Normally, even people experiencing a regression for the first time can get to this point and get a lot of peace from it.

I would like to stress the crucial importance of this stage if we want our regression to be more than just an excursion to satisfy some mundane curiosity.

The Interlife state is the state in which we exist when we are not incarnated: we analyze and evaluate our previous life and, at the same time, we design our next step on the ladder of our spiritual evolution, drawing up the blueprint for our next incarnated existence. This, in itself, can give us great insights into our spiritual path and life plan in this present life. We can look at past wrong choices, how they affected subsequent events, and learn from our past mistakes. Much spiritual healing can come from this, from acknowledging and “forgiving” past mistakes, to letting go and freeing ourselves from their influence. When we are in this state, a trained therapist can also guide us into a Spiritual Beings Meditation and access a kind of wisdom that is beyond our reach in the rational state of our everyday lives. The exploration is highly symbolic and everyone can see their spirit helpers in the form suggested by their own religious beliefs.

However, after reviewing the first moments after detachment from the physical body, it is possible to investigate what the soul does in the spiritual dimension. It is a time of great work for the soul: first of all, it recovers from the traumas suffered in its last incarnation and reexamines the experiences acquired. During this period (also known as bard-state) the soul meets its soul-family, represented by souls very close to it and with whom it has probably incarnated many times to interact and learn lessons together. Sometimes a client describes a visit to the Akashic Records, where all the knowledge of the universe is stored. Finally, the soul draws up the blueprint for its next life, sets goals, and makes appropriate arrangements on how to achieve these goals with those souls who will have a relevant role in it.

Some people may object that all information coming from the spirit world is dated in some way, which accurately reflects the beliefs and culture of the person channeling the information at the time. This argument is often used to dismiss the whole issue as a pure invention of the psychic’s mind. I believe the truth is quite different. We are here on earth to pass tests. The spirit world can help us, but we must not fool ourselves: no one will pass our exams with the correct answers already written. If they did, it would be useless for us to incarnate.

The Otherworld is a very complex reality, far more complex than our physical minds can hope to comprehend. When we come in contact with spiritual beings, they can give us clues, but they are always very careful to keep them within the confines of our beliefs and cultural boundaries. They may push us into the right doors, but they will never open them for us. It is our task to open them and go further; no one else can do it for us. That is why the messages that humans have received over the centuries seem to move at our own pace, if only a little ahead of us.

Investigations into the life between lives may lack the charm and local color (and strong emotions) that past life memories normally have, but they are much more important and meaningful, especially for those on a spiritual path. Through these investigations we can really gain a deeper understanding of our purpose on this earth, and the experience can be so overwhelming that it could really bring permanent changes to improve our daily lives and speed up our evolution.

People who fear death will also find this type of research more rewarding and may radically change their attitude towards physical death. Interlife scans will shed a whole new light on it, showing it as a simple initiation ritual.

Even if some of us aren’t able to make it to Interlife on the first try, it’s certainly a goal worth reaching.
