Toaster Vs Toaster Oven – What’s The Difference?

If you are looking for a good toaster, and have been looking for one for some time, you should try toaster ovens. Granted, it’s more expensive than the toaster, but you also get a lot more features. Of course, you may not need all the features it gives you, but then it’s good to have it as an option in your mind before you decide not to.

First of all, most people think of toasters just because they want to toast their bread. A toaster is pretty much useless for anything else except the West Bend toaster which gives you the option of poaching two eggs on the side. Even here, the egg poaching thing isn’t as effective as advertised, and it’s only in the pictures that you can get two eggs so perfectly in such a small place. For all of us, the whole toaster would have egg splatter marks the first time you use it.

A toaster is very effective and that is the only reason why it is still being sold in such large numbers even now. It’s cheap and gets the job done. The only problem is that nowadays, where space has become so important that people have to make do with small kitchens, it is more practical to have multi-purpose kitchen appliances instead of having a dedicated one. This is where the toaster oven comes in.

A toaster oven isn’t just a toaster, it’s also a mini oven, and if you get one, you can use it pretty much like you would a full oven. The only problem most people would have is that it doesn’t toast bread as well as a toaster would, but then you get toaster ovens that have slots in the top that you can use to toast your bread.

Although more expensive, if you have space constraints it might be a good idea to go for one of these because it gives you two appliances in one. Out of all the models that are available in the market, black toaster ovens are the best looking. Even if the stainless steel ones may be easier to maintain, black ones give a certain contrast to all the other utensils in your kitchen, and it is definitely better than a white one anyway. However, most paints only require an occasional wipe down to remove stains.
