Travel tips for Barbados
Many tourists over the years have visited Barbados, a beautiful island that is located in the Caribbean. This is not surprising given the many things it has to offer, including the hospitality of the people, the beaches and the history of the country. These little tips will be useful if you are thinking of traveling to this island.
passport
All children and adults entering and leaving Barbados will need a passport that is valid for at least six months, or less, depending on the country of citizenship. At the pass, visitors from Canada could enter with their driver’s license, but this is no longer the case.
Visa
Commonwealth and Caricom countries do not need a visa to enter, but all other places do, places like China, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Rwanda, Madagascar, Pakistan, Slovakia and the list goes on.
Support and Direction
You will need to know the name and address of the person or place where you will be staying. In addition, you will need to walk with and/or have access to money that you will use to support yourself for the duration of your stay.

On the plane, you will be given a personalized declaration form to declare any items on the list that need to be checked. In this form you must write the address of the place where you will be staying.

There are many airlines, including Air Canada, American Airline, Caribbean Airways, and Virgin Atlantic that fly into Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados.

If you need to extend your stay, you will need to apply for the extension at the immigration office in Bridgetown.
Departure taxes
On the pass, you had to pay a departure tax at the check-in counter, before you were given your boarding pass. However, this has changed and the tax is now added to the ticket.
