Waterfront Restaurants in Clearwater Beach, FL

Frenchy’s has several locations in Clearwater. My favorite place is the one facing the beach. You can sit outside and order a pina colada while looking at their large menu with many options to choose from.

I ordered the Buffalo Grouper Sandwich, which I have not seen at any other restaurant. It was very moist and delicious! I ordered fries instead of fries and they came out hot and fresh from the fryer.

Columbia is another option for a place to eat in Clearwater. Columbia has six locations to choose from and this one provided us with great service. We chose to sit outside overlooking the water. It is a Cuban restaurant with many options to choose from. They serve fresh Cuban bread with your food and it’s really good!

My favorite part at Columbia was the fresh white sangria that we ordered. She faced us. The server squeezed all the fresh fruit into the pitcher and served it to us. I think this would be a great replacement drink for a mimosa.

Shephards has a world famous buffet that we ate at on one of our nights. We had the option to eat outside, but opted to sit inside and watch the Devil Rays baseball game.

There were so many options at the buffet that I had to make two trips to the buffet to try everything I liked. There was shrimp, chicken, king crab legs, salads, mashed potatoes, sushi, desserts, soups and the list goes on and on.

We walked outside after dinner to see the water and it was nice. Our friends sat outside instead of inside and enjoyed themselves.
