Buying Gogos Crazy Bones Toys: A Checklist for Parents

With Gogos Crazy Bones taking over school playgrounds, you’ll soon be looking everywhere for these colorful little characters. If you’re just getting started shopping for these toys, here’s a quick checklist to point you in the right direction.

• Gogos Crazy Bones are small, sticker-sized packages of plastic minifigures. You won’t be able to see which shapes you are buying until the packs are purchased and opened.
• The packs are pretty cheap at just £ 1, but you need enough Gogos to play properly – one pack is not enough!
• There are hundreds of these little characters now covering four series. The latest series is Series 4, called Power and it comes in blue packages. Half of the Power Gogos are metallic.
• If you can only buy older series, the following information details the order in which they were released: series 1 (red packs), series 2 called Evolution (yellow packs), and series 3 called Explorer (green packs).
• Each series 1-3 pack includes three Gogos and three stickers. Series 4 packs only have two Gogos and two trading cards instead of stickers. If your child is expecting a certain number of Gogos, be sure to buy enough Series 4 packs so they won’t be disappointed.
• If your child doesn’t know how to play with the figurines in one of the many roll, catch, or throw games, be sure to purchase a starter pack or one of the books available to teach him the basics.
• To prevent your child from losing these little toys all over your house and you inadvertently stepping on them, buy a storage solution. There are two available: a metal can that comes with 10 Gogos only available when purchased with the can, and a smaller bag that comes with a pack of Gogos. The bag holds about 30 Gogos and the can holds many more.
