Coronavirus: Belgian Stroke Council calls on stroke victims to get vaccinated

The association says it has recently received many questions from patients and their families. The Belgian Stroke Council says it supports the Belgian vaccination strategy.

“Any concerns about an increased risk of thrombosis should be investigated by the relevant authorities, but they have no influence on the vaccination campaign,” the organization said in a statement. “We recommend that all stroke patients get the Covid-19 vaccine.”
