Is Independent Profit Center (IPC) a real business or just another scam? The inside scoop

Times are tough these days and more and more people are looking for ways to supplement or replace their current income. Unfortunately, there are many ways to make money online, and all too often the claims made on sales pages and emails simply don’t come to fruition in the end. So you look at the opportunities with skepticism, trying to discern if they are scamming you or if they really are what they say they are.

In this article, I want to take a look at Dan Miller’s Independent Profit Center to determine if it’s a scam or a real opportunity for online success. Ultimately, I always encourage thorough research to make your own determination, but I hope this article provides you with some insight.

Do you have a product or service that people want/need?

The Independent Profit Center has a software package that Internet marketers can use to improve their own business, sell it to others, or use it creatively to promote their business. These are not junk programs that anyone can find for free by searching hard enough. They are really useful. This is not an affiliate program or any kind of deal where you have to wait to get paid. It is a direct sales program. When a customer buys the product, they immediately pocket $200. It’s a big plus for most people that it only takes one sale to be in profit mode.

Do you know how to spread the word so that people visit your website?

IPC’s biggest selling point is the training offered in its back-office. They are very great at learning how to brand themselves as the business opportunity rather than the company. They provide step-by-step training on many of the Web 2.0 marketing techniques. Unlike many programs I’ve reviewed, their training is friendly to newbies, but also has nuggets of inspiration and insight for more experienced salespeople. So even if you don’t know how to get the word out at first, everything you need to know seems to be provided in the system. The skills you learn can be a fantastic springboard to generating multiple streams of income online.

Is your product or service priced so that a large number of people are likely to participate?

As I mentioned earlier, the software package, training, and business opportunity are all priced at $250, a price most people can still afford even in our troubled economy. Fifty dollars is a one-time fee for the company to set up their website and the other $200 is a direct commission to their sponsor.

When I reviewed other online direct sales companies, I found that most are priced at $1000 and up, and many provide very limited marketing training. I find that IPC offers tremendous value for the expense.

My opinion

As I have honestly reviewed the program, I have personally come to the conclusion that Dan Miller’s Independent Profit Center is definitely NOT a scam. Provides a genuine opportunity for inexperienced and experienced internet marketers to earn money online.
