Learn Affiliate Marketing – What separates a good program from a great program?

If you’re like many people, you’ve tasted the forbidden fruit of internet marketing. You’ve made a couple of sales, or you have a feeling that there is a lot of money to be made easily if you can figure out how it’s done. There are over a million people who make a living off of eBay and quite a few eBay millionaires. But eBay is just one of the ways to make money on the Internet. Many people become affiliates of other companies who pay a commission to anyone who sells their product.

If you realize the potential, it’s time to take the next step. The Internet has no borders. You can instantly be in touch with millions of potential customers. If you can get a very small fraction of them to buy whatever it is you’re selling, you can make a living from home.

The real problem is that you are competing with people from all over the world who are trying to do the exact same thing. Some of these people have been at it for 20 years. They are experts. They are going to take most of the money and they are going to leave you the crumbs. They have a 20-year head start. Therefore, you realize that you need training. You realize you need help. So I have to ask you. How serious are you about starting an internet business? Would you invest $2500? If you’re not at least that serious, you should go now. You’ll be wasting $5/month and probably a bit more as you fumble around for different ideas that will probably never work.

Why not do it right from the jump?

If you can find someone who already makes a living on the internet and convince them to let you watch, you could learn this in a few weeks. Once you have the system powered down, the sky is the limit, as they say.

There are some gurus who will accept you and guide you. They are expensive. It is not uncommon to hear rates of $10,000 to $20,000. Some give weekend seminars for $2,000 a head. That may seem high, but remember that most college students pay $100,000 for a 4-year degree. But times are tough and it’s a little hard for most people to raise $10,000.

There is another way that is much cheaper and sometimes just as effective. That’s finding a rising star. There are many people who earn 6 figure income on the internet. If they get a reputation as an “Internet Marketing Guru”, a 7 figure annual income can be achieved. So look for a guy or gal who is trying to build a reputation by offering a great training product at a reasonable cost.

Another thing to look for is a video course. This is the 21st century. If someone offers you an ebook, they are trying to make a quick buck. Give him a pass.

New technology allows anyone to record their computer screens. It’s relatively easy to do an over the shoulder teaching approach. That means you can watch them do their homework on your computer screen as if you were sitting right next to them.

Videos are great because you can watch them over and over again. Stop them if necessary to clarify a detail. Watch the entire series before starting each campaign so you don’t inadvertently skip any essential steps. Watch them until you memorize everything. In other words, watch them until you vomit and actually absorb this stuff. This is how you become an expert and control your destiny.

If you can find that magic combination, you can usually buy a decent Internet Marketing Training course for less than $500. If you are serious about making a living on the internet, it is your smartest move and one you will never regret.
