Whole house water purification is a must for safe water at home

I believe whole house water purification is a necessity for anyone, but in some areas of the US and the world, the need is dire. In an effort to provide safe home water to the general public, treatment facilities rely on chlorine and other chemical disinfectants.

These chemicals are vaporized in the shower, when doing laundry, running the dishwasher, and even when flushing the toilet. Chlorine vapors are toxic to the central nervous system. Chlorine gas was the oldest chemical weapon, used in World War I by Germany. May react with water in the lungs to form hydrochloric acid, which is fatal.

Effective whole house water purification removes over 99.99% of chlorine. The way to do this was discovered in World War I, when gas masks containing carbon granules were used to protect soldiers from the gas, also known as bertholite.

You can’t have safe water in your home without effective chlorine reduction. It’s just not possible.

In the shower, chlorine damages hair and skin. It causes skin conditions like eczema and acne. At the very least, showering with chlorinated water causes dryness and itchiness. So you also need home-safe water in the shower.

You could get a shower head system and kitchen faucet filter, but without whole house water purification, your ice cubes will have chlorine in them and you’ll still be exposed to fumes in other ways. Also, when chlorine reacts with bacteria on the skin, chloroform gas is formed. Chloroform is listed as a probable human carcinogen by most agencies. Some list it as a “known” carcinogen. It is also created when chlorine reacts with popular antibacterial soaps.

We use those soaps to wash our hands, to wash our bodies, and to wash dishes. Some laundry detergents even contain triclosan, the most popular antibacterial agent. You can stop using antibacterial soaps or ensure safe water at home with whole house water purification.

If you were to decide to go for faucet filters and shower head systems throughout your home, you would find that it costs more and takes longer to keep up with replacement filters for all those different systems. You may spend more initially, but you’ll end up paying more in the long run.

And isn’t your time valuable? I know my time is money. I can’t afford to spend a lot of time changing filters throughout the house. Plus, they just don’t look that good. There aren’t many products that will fit in a small bathroom sink.

If you choose the right system, any certified plumber can quickly perform the installation. Trust me, once you have clean water throughout your house, you’ll start to have more energy, fewer headaches, and a better-functioning digestive system.

If someone in your home suffers from asthma, whole house water purification is an absolute must. Pool experts have known for years that chlorine vapors trigger asthma attacks. It also aggravates other respiratory conditions. Look for efficiency and you will get more value for your money.
