Auction – “Alien” costume and Harry Potter’s wand will be auctioned

An “Alien” costume, a three-piece suit worn by Al Pacino in “Scarface” and a magic wand from “Harry Potter”: around 800 objects from numerous Hollywood classics will be auctioned in Los Angeles at the end of April. Julien’s auction house has put an estimate of $ 40,000 to $ 60,000 for the terrifying costume of an alien called Xenomorph from Ridley Scott’s 1979 science fiction classic “Alien”.

The same price was estimated for a Batman costume worn by actor Val Kilmer in “Batman Forever” (1995). The estimate for a dark blue, striped three-piece suit worn by Al Pacino as drug godfather Tony Montana in “Scarface” from 1983 is even higher: 60,000 to 80,000 dollars.

The famous scissorhands worn by Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands (1990) are estimated at $ 30,000 to $ 50,000. A magic wand that Daniel Radcliffe wielded in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” in 2005 is comparatively cheap at between $ 8,000 and $ 10,000. However, the estimated prices at auctions are often far exceeded.

Other items to be auctioned on April 28th and 29th include the police badge and the Zippo lighter from Bruce Willis from the action classic “Die Hard”, a laser pistol from “Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi” and the Jodie Foster’s FBI ID from The Silence of the Lambs.(apa / afp)
