The name of Jesus is above all names

I had a dream over twenty years ago and in it was a man who looked like my late father; he was walking next to a fence next to my house. I stood on my steps and said daddy what do you want? He didn’t answer me but he kept walking along the fence. I told him again daddy what do you want and again he ignored me so I told him in the name of Jesus what do you want? He stopped and said that he had come to clean my house. It was about a week or two later that a brother in Christ went home to be with the Lord.

Sometimes I think we use the name of Jesus lightly without realizing the power that is invested in His name. His name is above every name that is named. He is above all sickness and disease, He is above all pain and sorrow, He is above all lack, He is above all the work of the devil and his demonic forces and His name is above the heavenly hosts of the darling; that is the reason why that Angel had to answer me so many years ago when I pronounced the name of Jesus.

The word of God says that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He has been given a name that has the ultimate power to overthrow anything that comes our way and we must recognize that power and authority and use it.

There are things we shouldn’t be going through but we are going through because we’re not using the power of that name. If God did not want us to use the name of Jesus, he would not have given it to us. No Christian should be hit on the head; Don’t get me wrong, yes we will be persecuted, but Jesus said we will be persecuted for justice’s sake, but it’s not all for justice’s sake, therefore we don’t have to accept it. We can and we must fight.

We are head and not tail and in the name of Jesus, we have authority over the works of the enemy. Sometimes our worst enemy can be in our own home but that doesn’t change the word of God. Jesus said that we have authority in his name so that includes the enemies in our home. Do not allow the devil to tell you that you must suffer persecution because your works are not for the sake of justice; it is for their bad benefits. You will know if what you are suffering is because of justice because the Holy Spirit will reveal it to you. If He doesn’t reveal it, then use the name of Jesus to get rid of the problem.

It doesn’t matter if the problem is inside or outside the home, the name of Jesus has the power to deliver and we should not be shy in using it. We must speak his name with confidence knowing that the devil trembles at the mention of that name. If it trembles then there is fear, if there is fear then there is weakness and if there is weakness then there is no power.

Many of our prayers are withheld by Satan because we are not commanding them to be released to us in Jesus’ name. We have accepted that it is not God’s time or that we have given up hope, but the truth is that we are failing to use our God-given right to use the name of Jesus to obtain what we have asked for; there is a truth in this saying, we are not waiting on God; He is waiting for us. He has given us everything we need to get what we want; now He is waiting for us to take advantage of what He has given, the name of Jesus.
