After Burn: a more effective exercise trick

Diet aside, the most effective way to get rid of belly fat is by exercising. Of course, most people appreciate the importance of exercise for losing belly fat; But very few know the correct way to exercise and how to get the most out of any exercise we do. For example, most are unable to take full advantage of the “after burn” effect in view of the fact that they are not pacing their exercise properly.

Let’s get one thing clear. Exercising at a steady pace, it can be slow or medium, it is not very effective.

The reason this is the wrong way to exercise is that once you stop exercising, your body stops consuming fat. Exercising at a slow or medium pace would require exercising for very long periods of time to lose belly fat, which is very inefficient and a total waste of time and energy.

The secret of efficient exercise

The best way to exercise to lose belly fat is to do it in such a way that your body can continue to burn fat even after you’ve stopped. In this way, there is little need to exercise for long periods.

This technique is called high intensity interval training, or HIIT. It is achieved by rapidly alternating the speed of your cardio. You can exercise slowly for twenty to thirty seconds and then suddenly switch to your fastest pace for the next ten to fifteen seconds. Then you can go at a medium pace following that and so on. The intensity and rapidity of the change in pace of exercise sends your body into a kind of shock and keeps you burning fat for up to eighteen hours after you stop exercising.

Let me say it again: up to eighteen hours after you’ve stopped exercising. Incredible, isn’t it? It’s called ‘After Burn’

Now that you know this amazing technique, you can proceed to choose an exercise in which you can apply it. Some examples of good exercises to choose from are stair climbing, interval running and walking, and the elliptical.

So go ahead. See if this technique doesn’t do “miracles” for you.
