Is it dangerous to follow a ketosis diet?

I have heard the name ketosis diet many times before, I am sure some of you have heard of it too. But do you know exactly what it is? Do you know its dangers and benefits? So let me tell you all about it.

The ketosis diet is a diet based on a state of the human body called ketosis. Ketosis occurs when the body is deprived of carbohydrates and begins to rely on protein, fat, and muscle for energy. In other words, a ketosis diet is a low carb or no carb diet.

In this state, the brain tells your body to reserve glucose for emergencies only. This is because the brain understands that you are not getting enough glucose because you are not eating enough carbohydrates. Then, as every dieter expects, the brain begins to use fat stores for all immediate energy needs. Sounds good, right?

What I haven’t told you yet, is that ketosis is treated by much of the medical society as a body crisis. So read before you start a ketosis diet. The state of carbohydrate depravity is not only dangerous but is considered a bodily crisis. This will be enough to make me ban this diet for life. But if it’s not enough for you, take a look at the side effects.

The basic side effects of a ketosis diet are constant tiredness and general fatigue and similar bodily dysfunctions caused simply by not having enough glucose in the body. But other than that, it can cause life-threatening liver damage and muscle tissue destruction. I’m sure you don’t want any of those. But wait, there is more.

Considering the effects of a ketosis diet, there’s a good chance you won’t be able to follow even the easiest training regimen. And as we all know, exercising is a vital part of losing weight. So you’re constantly tired, you can’t exercise because you don’t have enough energy, you have a lot of restrictions on what you can and can’t eat, and your body uses your fat as a last resort for energy.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is called starving. Starving is, in many ways, a kind of disease. This disease can cause long-term damage to your body and can affect any future dieting efforts as well. Please, before starting a new “promising” diet, consider it very carefully. In general, the ketosis diet is not a very pleasant process.

You have so many alternatives, so many healthy diets that offer a better lifestyle. You should not succumb to a harsh and dangerous ketosis diet.
