Spiritual Restoration

While they were repairing the temple, the book of the law was found, it was the book of Moses, which is the Law of the Lord, the Pentateuch, the lever by which justice was. 2 Kings 22:8. Restoration is returning something to a previous owner, a process of repairing and restoring it to its original condition.

Restoration is an arduous effort, on the part of truth seekers, to restore the original way of worshiping God in spirit and in truth, as presented in the New Testament Scriptures. This implies that we have lost some vital components of accountability, and that there is a need for restoration, just like that piece of furniture, the principles of the church that are no longer honored for their original beauty, the need to examine the reality of the structure of the church. By applying the truth to our faith, many people can understand that the original concept of God is much more beautiful than the current picture that Christianity shows.

Lost vital items may have been found hidden under floorboards, in an old closet, with spiders and cobwebs everywhere. The book of the law can restore order, justice and equality, and also instill confidence in the people.

It seems that this book of the law was missing, and had been lost for some time, and residing in its place was the mere shadow of the law, but essential principles were missing, but important qualities of our daily life are often missing. , and we have to find them again.

Take stock for a moment and think, what is missing from your life? Is Jesus in control? Do you have control? Do you have any idea what fate has in store for you?

Because the principles of the book were missing, and no one heard the good news, good practice had elapsed, bad habits had crept in, people were allowed to do whatever they wanted, and had developed a tough skin against correction, and they were allowed to get away with it because there was no law of correction, but where there is no ox, the manger is clean, much grows by the strength of the ox, Josiah instituted a religious reform, got rid of the places of idol worship,

What a great man is Jesus?

Although the prophesied description of him in Isaiah 53:2 is not favourable, “he had neither beauty nor majesty to draw us to him, nothing in his appearance to make us desire him.” In other words, he just looked normal.

There was no other like him, nor after him who followed his father, redemption and Restoration began. Zacchaeus said that if I have taken something by false accusation, I will return four times the amount, if I have done wrong or even cheated someone; I’ll go to them and apologize.

Jesus is about the only person I think could turn a tax collector from his cunning ways, I think this is one of the most beautiful things about Christ; he identifies with ordinary people and stands in the midst of their problems. God blesses people who turn from their wicked ways and repent.

This book of law was misplaced, discarded, thrown aside like we throw away our bibles, or was maliciously hidden by some idolatrous king who had buried it in the hope that it would not be found. Nothing would be more convenient for the enemy than to see this place closed, and to see the people in confusion, and the people of God scattered, but we are not ignorant of their artifice.

Why was the book lost? And when it was found, what would it bring to light? It was lost because corruption had set in, when a government is corrupt, it is always hiding its movements, policies are not clear, accountability is poor, there are sporadic fights and savage wars.

Nothing would please the enemy more than to see you defeated and walking around like a bum, hoping that you would never get up and walk and hold your head with dignity.

But at the last moment, the Holy Spirit will join our causes, he is your helper, Jesus said that there was great joy when the woman found her coin, when the lost sheep was found wandering the moors, when the prodigal son returned, Joy is in the house, not persecution, peace not war, ecstasy not hostility, friendship not partiality, not taking sides with evil and clinging to the unchanging hands of God.

The book of the law was missing, lost in the very place of originality, literally the last place where the bible should be missing; It is the house of the Lord, there were plenty of doctrines, covered by creeds, and the opinion of men, not what the word of God says, the practice of good government was lacking, the spirit of evangelization, sanctification, which was a word that I do not understand ,

Financial commitment, it becomes a matter of government inflation, when inflation takes the country, it will take the church, when a ministry is weak, appointments will be weak, because the wrong people are in leadership, when the right people are in the right power, the people will rejoice, it is not about looking good, God’s work requires dedication, and people who can give themselves to take on dedicated duties. But too often we see churches and ministries that fail, go nowhere, have no vision, and wreak havoc.
