Ties – What does your tie say about you?

Today President Bush showed up in a dark suit (appropriate for a funeral) and a golden yellow tie.

Was this combination, especially the tie, a fluke? President Bush had just lost control of the US House and Senate, leaving him relatively powerless.

The choice of a yellow and gold tie was not accidental. She was making a statement in nonlinguistic communication, the language of bondage.

The message

Mr. Bush was telling the whole world: “I may have lost the House and the Senate, but I will not give up! I am angry about what happened and I will stand my ground!”

The language of ties

Watching the news on television, one will see many world leaders, corporate presidents and other important people wearing single color ties. They are speaking in the non-linguistic language of bondage.

A solid color tie, worn with a white or light colored shirt, makes an instant statement.

In any case, the tie itself is not for dressing, and is an imported fashion item from the 18th and 19th centuries.

However, as it is worn today, it visually supports the neck and head, so you can use the tie to send a strong message to all who see it, just as Mr. Bush did.

I’m angry. Do you really want to face me? I am ready to fight.

or Gold.

I’m not about to give up. I will finish what I started.

or Purple.

I am the teacher. You will listen to what I have to say. I know what you need to know and I will impart that information to you.

Color Combinations – Tie Design

Not everyone consciously sends you messages wearing ties.

World leaders and movers and shakers who are filmed by the press and in the news know that they must make statements.

The guy next to you at work may not have the same idea.

However, color combinations and tie designs are chosen by people unconsciously.

However, when they use them, they have made some choice.

If your color schemes are efficient in any of the colors, they are making the same statements as above, or appropriately so.

Consider the color of the boy’s tie (predominant) and the design. If they are confused, he may be confused. If they’re wild, you can guess his mood pretty well.

Take your time and analyze the tie, and then interpret the message. There is a very strong message to be made in the language of bondage.
