How many times have you made a commitment and then failed to keep it? This could be in your personal life, with the decision to join a gym, or in your professional life, to enroll in a new class and learn a new skill. When you signed up, you were excited, ready to take on a new task. You paid the deposit, signed the paperwork, and maybe the event went to some classes. But at some point along the way, he lost motivation and failed to fulfill this commitment.

Everyone has some kind of routine, be it daily, weekly, or monthly. It’s a simplified process and enables efficiency in your daily tasks. Your mind works subconsciously to get through the day and you don’t have to actively think about what to do next.

However, because you’ve gotten so used to it, it makes new commitments difficult to meet. A commitment means breaking out of your routine and finding time to schedule the new activity.
